I joined the small but passionate studio Megadrago in Palermo, Sicily, initially to escape the Amsterdam winter—and ended up staying much longer than planned.
The team welcomed me as a CG Generalist with a focus on lighting. I worked closely with the creators on "Il Baracchino" a personal original project they had written and directed.
Given the size of the team, we often wore multiple hats to bring the project to life.
After Il Baracchino, I continued working with the studio, eventually stepping into the role of Lead CG Artist for several of their upcoming project pitches.

Netflix x Moth | Monument Valley 3 the Lighthouse

I had the pleasure of collaborating with the talented team at Moth Studio on a short film adaptation of Monument Valley 3 for Netflix.
My role involved transforming rough layouts into polished shots, integrating character animations from the skilled animators, and handling modeling, shading, lighting, and rendering to ensure each scene was visually captivating and ready for compositing. The project's puzzle-inspired design presented unique challenges, so it was incredibly rewarding to find creative solutions that stayed true to the game's iconic style.

Devsisters | Brixity

For Devsisters' exciting game Brixity, BUCK studio was tasked with creating an engaging promotional film. I contributed by lighting and compositing two key shots, bringing the game's vibrant world to life.

Tiffany| Holidays

For Tiffany's festive season campaign, BUCK studio crafted a charming holiday commercial and a series of short Christmas-themed vignettes for social platforms.
I modelled and sculpted the iconic "Bird on Rock", bringing it to life for both the narrative commercial and the vignettes.
Additionally, I handled lighting and compositing for two shots in each of the vignettes and the short film, as well as texturing some key characters in the commercial.

Hershey's | Lily's
Gummy Bears
Commercial project

For Lily's new Gummy Bears flavor, Hershey's collaborated with BUCK studio to expand their whimsical paper world in a short commercial.
I was responsible for the end shot, taking it from start to finish. This involved modelling, creating and look-developing the paper shaders used throughout the commercial, and lighting and compositing the final shot, bringing the vibrant gummy bears to life.

Short Film

I co-directed a poignant short film that explores the challenging topic of child abuse, drawing from real-life stories to create a resonant narrative.
As a co-director, I touched many aspects of the production with a focus on developing the visual style.
It has been a very challenging but rewarding experience to see our film resonate with audiences, earning accolades such as Best Animation Short at the Warsaw Film Festival and a Jury's mention at the Festival of animated Film Stuttgart.

Procedural Nizza
Houdini environment project

This procedural old town of Nizza was created using modular and procedural modeling.
I modeled and UVd different windows, doors, lamps, roof and balconies using reference footage from my trip.
I then created a Node setup in Houdini that would allow me to input blocked out boxes and would output the buildings using the modeled props
My goal was to create a pipeline-ready tool that I could demonstrate by creating a quick environment.

5Skoler | We Need School!
NGO commercial project

In this commercial for the NGO 5 Skoler, I took on the role of technical director. I was in charge of setting up a pipeline that would allow the team to create a more graphical 3D style, troubleshooting and setting up scenes for my my teammates along the way.
Besides the role of TD I also worked as generalist in charge of a character and multiple props throughout the entire pipeline.
5 Skoler is dedicated to building schools for Syrian children in refugee camps around the world.
